Responsibilities
consist of maintaining data center which houses 137 Windows 2000/2003
and Unix-based servers, assisting Network Administrator with Cisco and
Nortel Layer 3 switches, administering Cisco PIX firewall, checking
Intrusion Detection logs to prevent or stop Internet policy abuse,
hacking attempts, and DDOS attacks, and updating, installing and
configuring Symantec Anti-Virus Corp 10 edition on 850 workstations and
six (6) servers. Duties
also include server installation, troubleshooting, backups, maintaining
user accounts, proximity administration and spam monitoring for three
(3) hospitals and two (2) clinics.
Troubleshoot, and distribute computers and printers as needed for
a system that consists of 1700 employees, 850 workstations, and 160
printers. Network duties
consist of running cable, configuring network appliances and other
related functions.
Successfully completed the implementation of McKesson Health Care
System, our new hospital information system.
